Delete your account & data
Tipsy Kitten for Android (com.tipsykitten.app)
You can delete your Tipsy Kitten account and everything associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do this: directly inside the app (fastest), or by emailing us.
Option 1 — From inside the app (recommended)
- Open Tipsy Kitten on your Android device.
- Tap the Settings icon.
- Scroll to the Account section.
- Tap "Delete my account & data".
- Confirm when prompted. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Option 2 — By email
If you can't open the app (e.g. you uninstalled it, or it's not signing in), email us and we'll delete your account for you:

From: the request must be sent from the same Google email address that is signed into the Tipsy Kitten account you want deleted. This is how we verify you own the account — we won't act on requests sent from any other address.
Include: the approximate date you first installed the app (helps us locate the right account).
We'll confirm deletion within 7 days.
If you never signed in with Google and used Tipsy Kitten anonymously, there is no email tied to your account, so we have no way to verify a deletion request by email. In that case please use Option 1 (in-app deletion) instead.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your account record (your internal user ID and, if applicable, the email address from Google sign-in).
- Your saved bar / ingredient list.
- Your ratings, favorites, and notes.
- Your custom recipes and edits.
What is kept, and why
- Crash logs (if you had crash reporting enabled) are not tied to your account in a way that lets us look them up by user, so they cannot be selectively deleted. They are automatically purged by Firebase Crashlytics within 90 days.
- Purchase / subscription records are held by Google Play, not by us. We may keep a non-identifying record that a purchase occurred (without your account ID) for tax and accounting purposes for as long as required by law (typically up to 7 years). To cancel an active subscription, use the Google Play Store app → your profile → Payments & subscriptions. To request a refund, use the Play Store's standard refund flow.
